Naked
As Nature Intended
Er..
thanks for clicking
.yep; I'm here for research purposes as well. But seriously,
it's been a while since I've posted so I thought I should put some thoughts down
(or up in the ether). As a sensitive singer songwriter type fellow with a minute
presence online I know how much music there is out there - a lot of it really
good but an awful lot more OK, indifferent or not good.
Trouble
is drawing attention to stuff you've done and expecting folks to be interested,
its useless to write a song called 'Darling, lets keep it real' or some such twaddle
and expect your website to crash under millions of hits.
Song
titles these days should have some meat to them and with this in mind I've been
noting down new and relevant titles such as 'Any Meds Today?', 'This One's Going
to Skyrocket, 'Lonely and Want to Chat?' and suchlike.
But
while I've had plenty of support from uke freaks, I feel I should try and put
stuff out there that addresses the wider issues that challenge us all today.
Such
as the environment.
There
seems to be many ways in which we can all help save the planet and reduce our
carbon footprint. I, for example, have taken no first class transatlantic flights
(with my entourage of 30 friends & family) AT ALL for the last few years!
But
is it enough?
Radical
times call for radical solutions and this is what I propose in my song 'Naked
as Nature Intended'. Wouldn't it be easier if we all shed our clothes and saw
each other as we really are, if we went back to a Utopian Arcadia and lived the
simple life? (offline?).
I'll
admit there are problems:
